Authorities said police and firefighters are investigating a fire that left one person dead at a senior living community in Dallas overnight.[[297764561,C]]
Firefighters responded to the Primrose Oaks apartments in the 2500 block of Perryton Drive just before 10 p.m. Thursday. Most of the fire in the first-floor unit had been extinguished by the building's sprinkler system, firefighters said.
When firefighters went into the apartment, authorities said they found a woman dead inside.
The woman's identity has not yet been released.[[297765751,C]]
