Houston police are investigating the death of a 37-year-old woman whose body was found in the bathtub with her boyfriend.
Police Officer Roy Swainson says the body of 37-year-old Lashonda Moye was found in the tub around 1 a.m. Monday after officers were called to the house by the report of a home invasion. When they arrived, they found no activity outside the house, and nobody answered when they knocked on the door. They saw the couple in the water-filled tub when they peered inside a bathroom window.
The boyfriend, Nathan Mitchell, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Swainson says neither Moye nor Mitchell showed obvious signs of trauma. He says Mitchell was incoherent, however.
No charges have been found, but Swainson says the death is suspicious.
