A North Texas woman has confessed to being the so-called "Wig Bandit" linked to at least seven bank robberies.
23-year-old Jessica Renee Stell was arrested Thursday after detectives executed a search warrant which produced incriminating evidence.
Stell, currently in Tarrant County jail, says she robbed backs to pay for her heroin habit. She has confessed to seven robberies since January.
Police say Stell remains in custody facing parole violation and drug warrants. Federal bank robbery charges are pending.
