An 18-year-old woman has died after being rescued from Lake Travis in Austin.

According to officials, Sylvia Koffa was swimming with family members at Bob Wentz Park Tuesday when she went underwater. Officials say when she didn't emerge for five to 10 minutes, a relative called 911.

Lake Travis Fire Rescue Chief Robert Abbott said Koffa's relatives were able to show authorities where Koffa was last seen, and divers were able to retrieve her 15 to 20 minutes after she went under water.

She was transported to Round Rock Medical Center in critical condition, where she died Wednesday morning.
