Wildfire Danger Eases Across Parts of Texas

Experts say the wildfire danger has eased in parts of the state but is high to extreme in West Texas.

The Texas Forest Service on Monday reported that significant fire potential is low to moderate for most of the state.

In Central Texas, McCulloch, San Saba and Llano counties also could see high fire danger to start the week.

The Texas Forest Service says a nearly 2,500-acre fire in Sutton County was contained Sunday. No injuries were immediately reported.
