Several big construction projects are scheduled to take place during the coming weekend, resulting in closures across North Texas.
All work is weather permitting and a cold front appears likely to bring rain to North Texas Saturday. Highest rain chances will be north of Interstate 20 and a few storms may be strong to severe. High winds will be the biggest threat and localized flooding is possible.
35Express Project
- Two left southbound left lanes of I-35E will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday.
- Westbound ramp from Interstate 635 to southbound I-35E will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday.
- Northbound entrance ramp from Swisher Road to I-35E will be moved north of its current spot at 9 p.m. Friday.
- Three left northbound lanes of I-35E will be closed at Royal Lane from 8 p.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Sunday.
- Northbound ramp from I-35E to Interstate 635 will be closed from 9 p.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Sunday.
Dallas Horseshoe Project
- Various lanes of southbound I-35E will be closed at Interstate 30 from 10 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday.
- Various lanes of eastbound I-30 will be closed at I-35E from 10 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday.
North Tarrant Express Project
- Northbound I-35W ramp to U.S. 287 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday.
- Right northbound lane of I-35W will be closed from Basswood Boulevard to U.S. 287 from 8:30 a.m. Friday until 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
- Various lanes of northbound I-35W will be closed at Spur 280-Texas 121 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday.
- Southbound ramp from I-35W to westbound I-30 westbound will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday.
- Northbound ramps from I-35W to Texas 121 and westbound Loop 820 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday.
- Ramp from U.S. 287 to northbound I-35W will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday.
- Various lanes of I-35W will be closed from 28th Street to 33rd Street from 9 p.m. until 10 a.m. the following morning Friday and Saturday.
- Left northbound lane of I-35W will be closed from Western Center Boulevard to Basswood Boulevard from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday.
