OFFICER INJURED
-A West Tawakani police officer is injured while working off duty early Sunday morning. A spokesperson with the Dallas Police Department said the officer was working off duty in the 10,000 block of Technology Boulevard in Dallas when he saw 3 men burglarizing a vehicle. The officer was injured while trying to take the men into custody. He was transported to Parkland Hospital where he received stitches to his hand.
DALLAS SHOOTING
-A 27 year old man is shot and killed late Saturday night in the 6800 block of St. Regis Drive. A spokesperson with the Dallas Police Department said the victim pulled into an apartment complex parking lot and witnessed a robbery, that is when he was shot. He was taken to Baylor Hospital where he later died. No word on the shooting suspects.
