Several weekend construction projects could have an effect on North Texas traffic.
Various lanes of southbound Interstate 35E will be closed from Turbeville Road to Farm-to-Market 407 in Lewisville from 9 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday to shift for the new Lewisville Lake Bridge. The new bridge will open to southbound traffic at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Various southbound lanes of the Sam Rayburn Tollway will be closed from I-35E to MacArthur Boulevard in Lewisville from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. Use the frontage road as a detour.
Several ramp entrances of the Interstate 820/Interstate 35W interchange in Fort Worth will be moved from the left side to the right.
All weekend construction is weather permitting. A cold front will bring a chance of showers and storms to North Texas Saturday.
