Several businesses along Inwood Road in Dallas were flooded with up to three feet of water after a water main break under the businesses.

The break happened around 2:45 a.m. Monday in the 11800 block of Inwood Road.

All About Kids Dentistry had about three feet of water inside the business, visible from the outside against the glass doors, firefighters said. They broke the glass to allow the water to flow out into the parking lot and out of the business.

Next door, the Town and County Pet Hospital also had a lot of water. Animals inside are kept in cages up off the floor. None of the pets were hurt.

The city water department is on scene working to isolate the break and figure out how the main broke.
