A water main break in Dallas closed several lanes at Lemmon Avenue and Inwood Street Tuesday morning.

Crews were working overnight to install a new water main when they accidentally dug into the existing main, sending water pouring into the street.

By 5 a.m., crews had turned off the water but a large mess remained.

Officials have not said when all lanes are expected to be reopened.
