Water Covers Road Following Fort Worth Water Main Break

A broken water main in Fort Worth lead to a road covered in water, leading some crews to worry about the chance of icing due to Wednesday morning's cold temperatures.

The eight-inch water main break occurred around 3:23 a.m. Wednesday, the Fort Worth Water Department said. The break located near 2700 Mitchell Boulevard forced water onto the roadway.

Crews may have to close various lanes of the road in order to repair the line.

No water customers will reportedly be impacted by the shut-off of that water line while crews make the repairs.
