Vote Delayed On Dallas Booting Ordinance

Tires don't look good in yellow boots, especially when it costs a pretty penny to take them off.

First  the Deep Ellum Community Association was notified late last night that the time on their vote for the parking “booting ordinance” was switched from an afternoon Public Hearing to this morning's Consent Agenda at 9:30 a.m. at City Council.

Then representatives from both the Deep Ellum Foundation and the Deep Ellum Community Association were told a decision won't come until August. Guess these things take time...

Council member Angela Hunt spoke to Unfair Park about the decision to delay, well, a decision.
