Police are searching for gunman accused of pistol whipping people during a robbery in The Colony.[[383833601,C]]
Police say responded to a shooting call at Avana Stonebriar Apartments on South Colony Boulevard just before 10:30 Tuesday morning.
Three people were inside a vehicle in a parking spot when they said someone with a gun approached them and demanded their valuables, according to officers.
The gunman then pistol whipped two of the occupants of the vehicle, shot four rounds into the left side of the vehicle, then ran with one of the victims' phones and a wallet.
The extent of the victims' injuries are unknown.
