Unknown Man May Be Key to Finding Missing Woman

Woman missing since midnight Tuesday

Investigators with the Fort Worth Police Department say an unknown man in a photograph may hold the key to finding a missing woman.

Police initially asked for help in identifying the man, pictured above. He was soon after identified and is now being questioned by police.

Investigators believe the man may know the location of Angela Renee Yancey, 46, who went missing Oct. 25. Investigators have spoken to several other individuals as well.

Yancey was last seen shortly after midnight on the 8900 block of Randol Mill Road.  She is a black woman, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs about 170 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. She was wearing dark blue or black pants and an orange Whataburger shirt.

Police are speaking with anyone who may have seen Yancey between 8900 Randol Mill Road, where she lives in an apartment complex, and her place of work, the Whataburger on Eastchase Parkway. Yancey’s missing person’s flier is posted on the doorway to the restaurant. The chain released the following statement:

“We are concerned for Angela’s welfare and our thoughts and prayers are with her family and those who are searching for her. Our team is working with the authorities and the community in hopes of ensuring Angela’s safe return.”

Anyone with information on the man pictured above or Yancey should call the Fort Worth Police Department at 817-335-4222.
