UTA Loses Power After Fire in Engineering Building

The UT Arlington campus lost power in a number of buildings Monday morning following a fire in the Engineering Research Building.

The UT Arlington campus lost power in a number of buildings Monday morning following a fire in the Engineering Research Building.

Power was out to Fine Arts Building, Aerospace Research Building, Continuing Education and Workforce Development, Dan Dipert University Welcome Center, Oak Landing, Vandergriff Hall, Heights on Pecan, Timberbrook Apartments, Lipscomb Hall, Woolf Hall, Cooper Chase, Garden Club, Center Point, West Crossing, Campus Center, and the aforementioned Engineering Research Building (ERB).

Power was reconnected to all those buildings except the ERB by 11:20 a.m. Monday.
