UT Southwestern Building Evacuated Due to Possible Gas Leak: Dallas Fire-Rescue

A building on the The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center campus was evacuated Wednesday afternoon due to a possible gas leak.

Dallas Fire-Rescue confirmed to NBC 5 they arrived at the complex at about 4 p.m. and that there have been evacations.

Officials said at about 5:20 p.m. that no gas leak was found and that the evacuations of the Outpatient Building were done out of an abundance of caution.

The hospital has resumed normal operations.
