Two women were injured after shots were fired at a Dallas apartment early Monday morning, police say.

Dallas police said they responded to a shooting call at the Montecito Creek Apartments in the 13200 block of Pandora Drive at about 2 a.m.

Authorities said two women met a man at a store in the area and accepted the man's invitation to go back to his apartment. After they arrived at the apartment, there was an altercation resulting in multiple gunshots being fired.

Police said one woman was grazed possibly from a bullet. The other woman was injured after jumping from the third-story balcony to escape the shots.
