Two Wanted After Attempted Bank Robbery in Red Oak

    Photographs from surveillance video show a man wanted in connection with an attempted bank robbery of a Red Oak bank.

    Police in Red Oak are looking for two people wanted in connection with an attempted bank robbery on March 1.

    According to police, a man walked into a bank and handed the teller a note that indicated they were being robbed.  The man, who never displayed a weapon, became nervous, grabbed the note and left the bank.

    Investigators said the man walked south toward Interstate 35E where he met up with another man.  The pair then walked away.

    The man who entered the bank is described as white, between 6 feet and 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing as much as 210 pounds.  He has brown hair and a small tattoo on the back of his right hand.  He was wearing a blue cap, a Denver Broncos hoodie, blue jeans, sneakers and sunglasses.  The man is estimated to be in his 20s or early 30s.

    The man he met up with is described as black, between 5 feet 10 inches tall and 6 feet 2 inches tall and with a light build.  He has black hair and was wearing a cap, brown T-shirt over a white T-shirt and blue jeans with a brown back left pocket.  The man was in his late 30s or early 40s and had a walking cane.
