Fort Worth police said two pedestrians were seriously injured after they were hit from behind during an early morning hit-and-run incident on Wednesday.

Police said the man and woman were hit from behind by an older model Cadillac with possible front end damage. Investigators did not have more specific details on the vehicle.

According to police, the victims were walking in a neighborhood near Bishop Street and Littlejohn Avenue in Fort Worth when the vehicle struck them.

Both victims are listed in serious condition at an area hospital. Police said the male victim suffered more serious damage, including injuries to his head and back.
