Two More White Supremacists Plead Guilty to Killing

Two more people linked to the white supremacist Aryan Brotherhood of Texas prison gang have pleaded guilty for their roles in the 2008 slaying of a Pleasanton man.

Federal prosecutors in Houston said Shane Gail "Dirty" McNiel of San Antonio pleaded guilty Wednesday to being an accessory after the fact to murder.

Denise Nicole Feathers of Jourdanton pleaded guilty to the same charge last week.

Both face up to 15 years in prison when sentenced next year.

Prosecutors said Mark Davis Byrd Sr. was a prospective gang member who was tortured and slain in May 2008 for stealing drugs he was supposed to deliver. Investigators said McNiel and Feathers helped hide a shotgun used in the slaying.

Eleven people have pleaded guilty in the racketeering-related investigation.
