Two Dead, Two Injured Following Alcohol-Fueled Stabbings

Alcohol likely played a factor in a double murder early Sunday morning, Grapevine police said.

It happened around 3 a.m. in the 400 block of North Scribner in Grapevine, GPD Lt. Todd Dearing said in a telephone interview Sunday afternoon.

“A group of guys were out partying, and came back to another party that was going on,” Dearing said.

“Words were exchanged and it escalated into the stabbings,” Dearing continued.

A total of four men were stabbed in the conflict. Two died of their injuries, while the others were treated at local hospitals and released. Names of the victims have not been released.

Alberto Vazquez-Ramos was arrested and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to a police report issued Sunday afternoon.
