Two Critically Injured in Unrelated Stabbings

Two men are in critical condition Saturday morning after separate, unrelated stabbings in Denton and Dallas.

In Dallas, two men were fighting at the Budget Suites Market Center when one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed the other multiple times.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he underwent surgery.  His injuries are considered critical.

The man's attacker has not been found by police.

Hours later, in Denton, a man was stabbed in a parking lot on West Eagle near the University of North Texas student apartments.

Officials said the stabbing took place after two men began fighting inside Club Heat.  One of the men pulled out a weapon and slashed the other man's throat.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The man's attacker is believed to have been taken into custody by police.
