Two Arrested in Wal-Mart Shooting

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of 30-year-old Andre Lang Currier, whose body was found outside of a Frisco Wal-Mart Wednesday.

Currier was found dead at about 8 p.m. inside a black Mercedes parked at the store on the 8500 block of Preston Road.

Police expect to charge Raymond Anthony Washington, 20, and Daniel James Ramsour, 17, with murder in connection with Currier's death.  Police believe that the three, and another man, were conducting a drug transaction with the shooting occurred.

Both Ramsour and Washington, both of McKinney, were arrested early Friday morning in Beaumont after a vehicle registered to one of the men was spotted outside of a home.

“I’m proud of how hard everyone’s been working as a team to solve this crime and hope that this will put people at ease who live near where the shooting occurred,” said Todd Renshaw, Frisco Police Chief.

Currier was said to be with a friend who left the scene after the shooting. Investigators said that person's name will not be released.

If convicted, Ramsour and Washington face up to 99 years in prison.  They are each currently being held on $500,000 bond.
