Fire officials say nobody was injured in a two-alarm fire at an East Dallas apartment complex Friday evening.
The fire was reported at the Holly Park Apartments on the 9700 block of Military Parkway, near North St. Augustine Drive and North Sam Houston Road.
It began at about 7:45 p.m. in an air-conditioning unit and quickly spread to neighboring units, investigators said.
When firefighters arrived, they observed smoke coming from a two-story apartment building, and the incident eventually escalated to a second alarm.
Four apartment units were damaged, affecting 16 residents, officials said.
