Twin-Engine Plane Crash Lands Along Texas Highway

A twin-engine airplane has made a crash landing along a highway near a South Texas airport.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says nobody was hurt in the accident Monday night near Pleasanton Municipal Airport.

Details were not immediately available on how many people were on board the Cessna 414 that ended up on its belly in some grass along Farm-to-Market Road 3350. The area is near a runway at the airport about 30 miles south of San Antonio.

Authorities are trying to determine what caused the accident.

Messages left for DPS and the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office were not immediately returned Tuesday.
