An Arlington salon will be getting an unexpected renovation after a truck slammed into it.

Cecy Moreno, owner of Magic Sheer Salon, has had her salon open for the last eight years.  On Saturday, the driver of a truck somehow lost control on the 1800 block of Southeast Parkway and slammed into the side of the salon.

"It was very, very scary.  We thought we had an earthquake, a bomb, something happened to us," Moreno said. "We saw all the products, everything fell in on the floor."

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital.  Moreno said his passenger was arrested.  There were six people inside her salon when the truck hit, including two small children.

"We were looking for them like crazy.  They're pretty scared right now," Moreno said.

Fortunately, no one was hurt since everyone was on the other side of the salon at the time of the accident.

"Thank God everything's okay, but inside its a mess," said Moreno's husband, Andres Martinez.
