The westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 67 are temporarily closed about 4 miles east of Glen Rose after a rock hauler struck a metal bridge while crossing the Brazos River.[[421913224,R]]

Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety shared photos of the crash that showed the trailer extended in the up position and the bridge's portal and/or sway bracing damaged.

From the photos, it appears as if the driver entered the bridge with the trailer in the up position and smashed through the bridge's bracings

An officials damage report has not been issued and investigators have not confirmed the details of the crash.

No injuries were reported.

Crews are working to open one lane each way on U.S. 67 on the adjacent eastbound bridge. Motorists are encouraged to slow down through this location or seek alternate routes.
