Students, faculty, and the Euless Police department are mourning the loss of Officer Richard Wong.
Officer Wong suffered a heart attack and died at the Hurst Recreation Center while playing racquetball Monday night.
Wong had been assigned to Trinity High School since 1998 as a school resource officer.
As news of his death spread, some 80 to one hundred people showed up at the school for a candlelight vigil.
A memorial has been placed at the school and more students and faculty are expected to gather again on Tuesday night at 7:45 p.m.
