A utility transformer and pole fell on a car on Boll Street in Uptown Dallas Friday morning, smashing the car and leaving crews puzzled.
The pole fell at about 2:15 a.m., causing HAZMAT crews to respond because of a oil material inside the transformer. Crews were able to clear the scene around 4 a.m., but blocked a one-block area at Mckinney and Boll Street.
No one was injured.
Crews say they don't know why the pole fell. Oncor is now trying to repair the pole.
