A train collided with a truck carrying construction equipment that had gotten stuck on the tracks.
A train crashed into an 18-wheeler that stalled on the tracks in Argyle Wednesday night.
Argyle police said an 18-wheeler that was hauling commercial equipment to a nearby construction site got stuck on the tracks at Crawford Road and U.S. Route 377 at about 6 p.m.
An oncoming train hit the 18-wheeler, but the driver jumped right out of the truck just before the crash and escaped uninjured, according to Argyle police.
The train did not derail after the collision.
One passenger on the train reported a minor back pain injury after the crash.
Railroad workers replaced the railroad crossing arms at the intersection and spent hours making sure they worked properly.
Crews spent hours clearing debris from the roadway and the tracks to make sure it was safe.
The scene was cleared and Crawford Road reopened at about 5 a.m.
