Dallas police are kicking off "Operation Heat Wave" this summer to crack down on criminals.
Authorities said the crime fighting initiative is to reduce property crimes, such as burglaries on homes, businesses and cars.
Patrol officers will target ten areas of Dallas, but the department is keeping a tight lid on exactly where.
