Fort Worth police are investigating a string of reported sexual assaults in and around the Texas Christian University campus.
The three attacks apparently occurred in a nine-day period beginning Aug. 18. Police say it appears that in all three cases the alleged assailant and the accuser knew one another.
Fort Police are investigating. No arrests have been made.
Campus and victim advocates say the incidents appear to be part of a national trend in which reports of sexual assaults increase when universities begin the fall semester. They say for many students it is their first time away from home and some experiment with drugs and alcohol, making them more vulnerable to attack.
Still, the attacks at the Fort Worth campus have raised concern among some students and parents.
