Three people were killed Thursday night in a car crash in Hunt County.
Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety were called to the scene of a head-on collision at about 7:40 p.m.
Investigators later learned that 44-year-old Brett Vick, of Greenville, was driving south on U.S. Highway 69 when he crossed into the northbound lanes and struck a vehicle head-on.
Vick's Chevrolet collided with a Ford driven by 65-year-old Ouida Richards of Celeste.
Vick, Richards and her passenger, 84-year-old Melba Compto, all died at the scene.
Investigators have not said what caused Vick to stray from his lane.
