More than 2,000 Oncor customers were without power after an outage in the Flower Mound-Grapevine area Friday afternoon.

A statement from Oncor said 2,300 customers were without power, but their outage map shows more than 4,000 without power in the Fort Worth Metro Area.

By 4:30 p.m., service was restored. Oncor hasn't said what caused the outage.

The temperature at 3:45 p.m. on Friday was 94 degrees.  The high over the next six days is expected to reach, and possibly exceed, the triple digits.  See the weekend forecast here.
