The Avett Brothers to Headline KXT's Summer Cut 2013

After much fanfare, KXT 91.7-FM has announced the line up for their summer concert festival, Summer Cut: The Happy Funtime Fest.

Several big names will be taking part in the one-day event at Gexa Energy Pavilion at Fair Park, including roots-rockers The Avett Brothers, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and national acts Matt & Kim, Dawes, Hayes Carll and Milo Greene.

Local acts RTB2, Oil Boom, The Orbans, The Roomsounds and Fate Lions will also be taking part. Other acts will be announced as they are confirmed.

The event is scheduled for June 1 at 4 p.m.  Tickets go on sale Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. and can be bought online through Live Nation. VIP tickets go on sale Jan. 22.
