A Texas high school freshman had a unique date to Homecoming this year.
Grace Kempken, a ninth-grader at Friendswood High School, tweeted Whataburger earlier this month to if they would be her Homecoming date.
She was quite surprised when the Texas-based fast food chain responded to her tweet with a big "YES!"
Last Friday, Kempken was called to the front office at school.
When she arrived, she was greeted by the Whataburger mascot, who presented her with a one-of-a-kind Whataburger Homecoming mum.
No word yet on how the date went, but it's probably safe to say Kempken is a Whataburger fan for life now.
Friendswood is just southeast of Houston.
