Texas Teacher Allegedly Had Students Slug Bully

Teacher alleged to have instructed students to slug the boy

Two teachers in South Texas have been put on administrative leave after more than 20 students allegedly hit a boy accused of being a bully.

Prosecutors in San Antonio are reviewing allegations that a teacher in the Judson Independent School District ordered students to slug the 6-year-old boy to teach him a lesson.

A police report says one elementary teacher last month approached another to help control the boy. The second teacher allegedly placed the boy before other kindergarten students and said "hit him."

The first teacher eventually stopped the punishment and later reported the incident.

The boy's mother said as many as two dozen students struck her son.

A Judson spokesman said the first teacher has been reprimanded and the second teacher won't be rehired.
