An East Texas man has been sentenced to three 99-year prison sentences for sexually abusing a 14-year-old female relative.
The Texarkana Gazette reports the 44-year-old was found guilty last week of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency by contact.
The Bowie County jury sentenced him Tuesday to 99 years for each count. Two of the sentences will run concurrently.
Prosecutors say he assaulted the girl in January 2013.
The Associated Press is withholding the man's name to avoid identifying the relative.
