Some North Texas school employees will be allowed to bring guns on campus.
Leaders in the Van Independent School District in Texas passed a plan this week to allow some employees to carry concealed handguns inside schools.
Those employees must have a concealed handgun license and go through ongoing intensive training.
School board leaders won't reveal how many employees will have guns, citing a need to keep those details from any possible intruders.
Information from the district did not detail when the plan would begin.
