Texas Connects Us: Mutton Busting Gets Down and Dirty

Most elementary school kids enjoy running around on basketball courts, soccer fields and baseball diamonds. But others would rather get down and dirty in a rodeo arena.

North Texas is home to several rodeos, and while you may go to watch the bull riders, you may leave more impressed with the little sheep riders.

Welcome to the wild sport of mutton bustin', where kids between 4 and 7 years old, hold on the sheep and ride for as long as they can.

They may be some of the bravest kids you'll ever meet.
