Bad Boys, Bad Boys, Whatcha Gonna Do This Weekend

If you have an outstanding traffic ticket or warrant, Friday is the day to get it taken care of before it's too late.

On Saturday, the city of Dallas and 250 agencies across the state will take part in the Statewide Warrant Roundup.  Officers will be out searching for offenders with outstanding violations and could visit you at your home or work.

In lieu of waiting in line at the courthouse, many cities allow offenders to avoid long lines by paying citations online. This could help you avoid that always embarrassing workplace arrest.

The roundups are, of course, to clear the unpaid tickets and warrants -- though they are also to raise money.  If all of the outstanding traffic warrants were paid in just the city of Arlington, the city would receive more than $31 million.
