Texan Who Pawned Camera Gets 25 Years in Child Porn Case

A Southeast Texas man whose pawned camera yielded child pornography images has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Christopher Dale Harrison was sentenced Thursday in Beaumont. Prosecutors say the 33-year-old Port Neches man pleaded guilty last November to production of child pornography.

Investigators in April 2013 searched Harrison's home and seized computer equipment and a cellphone. Authorities also confiscated a camera owned by Harrison that was recently pawned.

Officers determined all of the items contained images of child porn taken at his home and involved a minor who was ordered by Harrison to participate.

Further details weren't immediately released on what prompted the investigation.
