Teenage Girl Injured In Gang Shooting In South Fort Worth: PD

Detectives are investigating after a teenage girl was injured in what they say was a gang-related shooting. 

Fort Worth Police were dispatched at 10:20 p.m. Friday for a reported shooting in the 1400 block of E Humbolt Street. 

Detectives said a 14-year-old girl was grazed with a bullet across her head after a group of males she was with got into a fight with another large group. 

Police said the girl was inside a vehicle when the fight between the two groups broke out, a shot was fired and that's when she was hit. 

The girl has non-life threatening injuries.

The shooter is still outstanding. 

The Fort Worth Police gang unit is investigating the incident.
