Teen Still Battling West Nile Virus

Jordan Conner back in the hospital after being infected this summer.

An Arlington teenager is back in the hospital after getting the West Nile Virus this past summer.

14-year-old Jordan Conner remains at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth. She returned to the hospital last week after she lost feeling in one of her legs. Conner still sufferes from memory loss and headaches.

"Like when I lay down, I get these headaches like someone hit me with a baseball bat," Jordan Conner said Sunday.  "And when I walk, I can't stand for long, like my leg will cramp up real tight."

We first met Conner in August when she was diagnosed with West Nile Virus.  Her mother is scared for her health.

"I don't know what to do," said Ebonie Conner. "Will she be able to walk down the hall? Will she be able to walk down the aisle? We keep getting different answers, different scenarios."

Conner has already missed a lot of days at school. Her mother hopes she'll leave the hospital this week.

The family is hopeful for donations as their medical bills pile up, donations are accepted at any Chase Bank location, for Conner Family Trust fund.
