Arlington police are searching for the man who shot and robbed a teenager in a McDonald’s parking lot Wednesday night.

The shooting happened just off of state Highway 360 on E. Arkansas Lane before midnight.

A group of four people met up in the fast-food chain’s parking lot, according to police. A young man and a female friend arrived together to meet up two acquaintances.

Police said one of the two acquaintances pulled out a gun, robbed the young man and shot him.

The shooter and the second acquaintance drove off in a silver Chevy Impala.

One of the two dropped a ring that could help police in their search.

The shooting victim was taken to the hospital. NBC 5 has not received details regarding his condition.
