Arlington police say a 15-year-old ran to grocery store to get help after being shot at another location.

Officers said the teen ran to the Fiesta Mart in the 1300 block of East Pioneer Parkway after being shot nearby.

Dispatch operators received a 911 call from someone in the area of 1000 East Inwood Drive reporting gunfire. Police believe that was the area where the teen was shot.

The 15-year-old male was transported by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

One person was arrested by police in connection with the shooting. Police did not reveal that person's identity.
