Teen Reports Attempted Abduction in Lewisville

Police in Lewisville are looking for two men they say attempted to abduct a teenage girl Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, officers were called to the 300 block of West Corporate Drive, near the 2400 block of Deer Run, where a 14-year-old girl said she was confronted by two men as she walked home from school at about 4:30 p.m.

The girl told police two men in a passing car slowed down as they approached her and the passenger asked how old she was.  She told police she said she was "too young for him" and the car drove away.

The teen then told police the car circled back and stopped and the passenger got out of the vehicle.  She said the man then grabbed her backpack and pulled her closer to him as the driver of the car told him to get back in the car.

The man did and the two left the area.

The girl described the men as black, both with dreadlocks and beards but no mustaches.  She described the driver as about 30-years-old and the man who got out of the car as about 50-years-old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and with a thin build.

Anyone with information about the men or the offense is asked to call the Lewisville Police Department’s Tip Line at 972-219-TIPS (8477) or Denton County Crime Stoppers at 800-388-TIPS (8477).
