A teenager drowned Saturday at Lewisville Lake.
Witnesses said 17-year-old Jha'Ayric Nixon was swimming toward the dock with a church group when he fell behind.
A rescue dive team pulled the young swimmer from the water shortly after he went under around 8 p.m.
They were able to revive him but he died later at the hospital, according to fire officials.
