Target, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is recalling about 168,000 air misters after receiving reports of them shattering.
The Minnesota-based company has received three reports of incidents involving the misters shattering, one incident even involved a consumer reporting lacerations.
The hand-held devices are designed to spray a mist for personal cooling and were sold exclusively at Target stores from February 2012 to May 2012.
Consumers should stop using these air misters and return them to any Target store for a full refund.
