Take Home Golden Globes Glamour With Resale Stores

The Golden Globes are like a giant walking billboard for the fashion industry. The gowns you saw cost thousands.

But you can get a little bit of glamour without getting a second mortgage.

Vintage Martini is one of several high end resale boutiques in North Texas. Brands like Gucci, Prada, Tom Ford and Ungaro can be found with original price tags.

But you won't be paying that.

We found a brand-new Vivian Westwood dress. It sells for $6,000, but Vintage Martini offered it for $1,500.

"There's a lot of times when women have gone to balls or events with one dress and they can't wear it again so we're lucky enough that we get the pieces here so we can re-purpose them and reuse them and someone else can look beautiful in them," said Yvette Orso of Vintage Martini.

"To me because i dress off personal style and not a trend, I'm ok being a season behind because a lot of people who are really into clothes and have unlimited amounts of money, they're keeping her clothes a season and they're bringing them to places like this, which is great for me," Chelsea Bell, an SMU student.
